I bought a box of butternut squash, and they are all beautiful !!

Sweet, tasty, easy, stores well

Best butternut squash I've had. It's hard to get it ripe locally with our short garden season. They have kept well and it makes a tasty, nutritious, and easy side dish for suppers. I just cut it in half, remove the seeds and bake about 30 minutes at 400 degrees cut side down. Leftovers are good on pizza! Seeds are tasty too, raw or toasted.
