Cowboy Prime Meat Company Bison

We are happy to introduce Cowboy Prime Meat Company-Bison! The Fox family raise their Bison in north west South Dakota!  We are able to offer some great bundles of the bison they raise. They are working with the Fabris family (Cowboy Prime) to bring their bison to you along with the Fabris' beef.

A short intro from the Fox family.

Hi, we are Ben and Michelle Fox. We have 4 children and ranch in the Northwest
corner of South Dakota. We have been involved with the bison industry for 18
yrs. We have a cow/calf operation and have recently expanded to offer bison
meat. Our bison are born, raised, and finished here on the ranch. They are raised
on the plains of Dakota in their natural environment. We utilize rotational grazing
and move our bison between pastures frequently to improve soil health and the
prairie grasses. They are always excited to go into a fresh pasture. Our herd of
bison graze solely on native prairie grasses for the majority of their life, and choice
young animals are selected to be finished on grain for our meat program. In the
near future, we are planning to offer grass-finished bison as well. As an all-natural
solution to control parasites we utilize apple cider vinegar in their diet in place of
chemical-based de-wormers. They receive no antibiotics or added hormones whatsoever.
    We feel privileged and honored to be able to sell under Cowboy Prime Meat
Company. Tom and Briana are our neighbors and good friends.

Sample Pack: (approx 5.7 lb) includes: 3lb of ground bison, 1 steak, and 1 package
stew meat.
Classic Box: Small box (approx 12 lb) includes: 2 lb ground bison, 2 roasts,1 steak, 1           package stew meat, and 2 pks of soup bone or short ribs.

Medium box (approx 16.8 lb) includes: 4lb ground bison, 2 roasts,
2 steaks, 2 pks stew meat, and 2 pks of soup bone or short ribs.

Large box (approx. 2O.8 lb) includes: 6lb ground bison, 2 roasts, 3 steaks, 2 pks. stew meat, 3 pks. soup bone or short ribs.

*steaks in both sample and classic box could be a combination of sirloin, flank,
skirt, or flat iron. Ground bison- not tested for fat content but closer to 90/10.

Premium Steak Box: Small box (approx 5.5 lb) includes: 2 rib-eye, 4 tenderloin,                and 4 NY strip.

Medium box (approx 9 lb.) Includes: 4 rib-eye, 6 tenderloin, and 6 NY strip.

Grill Box: (approx 9.7 lb) includes: 4 lb of ground bison, 1 flank or skirt steak, 1 flat iron,    1 brisket, and 1 tri tip.

Tomahawk Box (small) includes: 2 tomahawks approx 60oz. total.

Ground Bison Box: Small box 5 lb. Medium box 10 lb. Large box of 15 lb.
Ground bison- not tested for fat content but closer to 90/10.

Grass Finished Ground Bison: Small box 5lbs Med box 10lbs Large box 15lbs

Bones for Broth Box: 10 lb of bones

Trim fat Box: 4 lb of chunked fat

Bison Heart 1 heart

Bison Tongue  1 tongue

Bison Liver  1 pound of liver

Bison Oxtail  1 pound of oxtail

Cooking bison meat suggestions: bison is a leaner meat so do not over cook
ground bison or steaks. We like to marinade the steaks for a few days in the
fridge with your favorite seasonings. We like coconut amino, pepper and garlic
powder. The roast falls apart if slow cooked for 24hrs in a crock-pot.
